"Bloom" is the third EP from the French band Myalmé. With Bloom, the band emphasizes intense grooves, punchy and funky horns led by Italian saxophonist Mattia Feliciani, and soulful melodies delivered by singer Nadia El Kihal. The EP takes listeners on a journey through all facets of Myalmé’s sound.

Each track explores a different musical influence: “New Soul” is a neo-soul and jazz-infused piece reminiscent of artists like Jorja Smith, while “Summertime” channels the high-energy nu funk style of bands like Lettuce. “A Little Something” focuses on heavy grooves and basslines, drawing inspiration from Hiatus Kaiyote, whereas “Playback” offers a slower, UK jazz-inspired vibe. Throughout the EP, Myalmé showcases their ability to weave diverse influences into a cohesive and distinctive musical voice.

"Le Son Du Graphite" is the second EP from the Nantes-based band Myalmé. With this record, the band focused on crafting heavy grooves inspired by nu funk acts like Vulfpeck. It also provided an opportunity to delve deeper into a hip hop vibe, featuring MC and poet Temo on three of the four tracks. His flow, influenced by artists such as Gaël Faye and Hocus Pocus, adds a distinct French flavor to the band’s universe. Notably, their cover of Strasbourg St. Denis by Roy Hargrove, for which Temo wrote original lyrics, remains their most listened-to track to date.

"Interconnection" is the debut EP of the French band Myalmé. It symbolizes the intense and enriching interweaving of human bonds they forged with their fellow students at the London Centre of Creative Media, many of whom feature on the four tracks recorded at the Centre’s studio. The record draws influences from Snarky Puppy to Steely Dan, resulting in an energetic jazz-rock sound while also laying the foundation for what would become Myalmé’s signature style: pop vocals, a funky horn section, and an emphasis on grooves and arrangements at the crossroads of nu funk, neo soul, pop, and jazz.
